Client Overview:
Mt Gipps Station Stay is an authentic outback accommodation experience located 40 kilometres north of Broken Hill in NSW. Set on a historic sheep station, the property offers a range of comfortable cottages and hands-on experiences that immerse guests in the rugged beauty of the Australian outback. When the owners reached out, their existing website had become outdated, difficult to manage, and vulnerable to hacking – so it was time for a complete rebuild and brand refresh.
We’ve had the pleasure of visiting and camping on the property a couple of times ourselves, which made this project even more special. Experiencing the landscape and hospitality first-hand gave us a real feel for the spirit of Mt Gipps – something we aimed to capture in every aspect of the new website.
Project Goals:
The goal of this project was to design a secure, easy-to-manage website that captures the unique atmosphere of Mt Gipps Station Stay while promoting its accommodation and outback experiences. The site needed to integrate seamlessly with Airbnb for bookings, include a refreshed logo (designed by Small Foot Designs), and introduce a simple way to sell Mt Gipps-branded merchandise.
Our Approach:
We created a modern, visually rich WordPress website using Elementor, inspired by the earthy tones and striking landscapes of the outback. The design highlights each accommodation option with inviting imagery and direct booking links, while the Airbnb calendar sync ensures accurate availability. We also added a simple payment feature allowing visitors to purchase Mt Gipps merchandise online, helping the business expand its reach beyond the property itself.
