Client Overview:
Motty’s Farm Cuisine is a boutique catering business based in the NSW Hunter Valley, providing personalised catering for private celebrations, special occasions and events. Known for its fresh, seasonal food and warm, professional service, Motty’s creates memorable dining experiences with a focus on quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation.
Project Goals:
I originally built the Motty’s Farm Cuisine website around 10 years ago, and the client still loved its distinctive look and feel. The goal was to create a modern, more functional version of the website without losing its familiar character, while improving search engine visibility, making menus easier to access and showcasing the business’s food, customer reviews and local connections.
Our Approach:
I rebuilt the website using WordPress and Elementor, retaining the original sidebar-style layout and visual character while refining the typography, imagery and overall presentation for a more contemporary feel.
The updated website includes downloadable catering menus, a live Google Reviews feed for testimonials and an Instagram feed showcasing the latest food and event photography. A dedicated Local Area page promotes other Hunter Valley businesses, encouraging local connections and cross-promotion, while improved SEO and an enquiry form make it easier for prospective clients to find and contact Motty’s.
