Simone Dalla Bella

Client: Simone Dalla Bella

Project Complete: October 2026

Client Overview:

Simone Dalla Bella is a cognitive neuroscientist, professor and pianist based at the University of Montreal, Canada. His work explores the fascinating connections between music, rhythm, the brain and the body, bringing together scientific research, musical performance and public engagement.

As both a researcher and musician, Simone uses the piano as a way to demonstrate and communicate scientific ideas, making complex concepts accessible to audiences beyond the academic world.

Project Goals:

Simone Dalla Bella, a cognitive neuroscientist, professor and pianist based in Montreal, needed a website that would bring together his academic research, speaking engagements and musical activities. The goal was to create a professional online presence that reflected his unique scientist-musician identity, catered to an international audience and provided content in both English and French.

Our Approach:

Working remotely with Simone in Canada, I developed a contemporary WordPress website that presents his scientific expertise alongside the important role music plays in his research. The site includes speaking information, research links, a live YouTube feed and a custom Highlights carousel that Simone can easily update himself. TranslatePress was also incorporated to provide English and French language options.
