I love working with local small business owners! Rel from Loom Fabrics in the NSW Southern Highlands town of Bowral had a simple website, but needed a much more complex ecommerce shop. We used her existing branding and created a fun, modern website that let Rel’s personality shine.
The shopping cart has been created using the very popular WooCommerce plugin, to sell both physical products and sewing classes. We’ve embedded a live Instagram feed, and Google Reviews.
This will be a staged website development project, as new Products and Project Bundles are added. A detailed sewing knowledge-base is also on the cards.
I’ve also learnt a lot about Klaviyo, a fantastic ecommerce marketing automation platform. We’re creating complex Welcome Emails when people join the Loom Community, and an Abandoned Cart email.
This site is just going to grow and grow as more products and resources are added!
